Lesa, Dental Hygienist
Lesa's duties include educating patients as well as improving and maintaining their oral health. She has worked in the field of dentistry with Dr. Menke since 1989. Lesa's favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is seeing improvements in patient's oral health. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Menke is that he's a great person with a passion for dentistry and new technology. She loves interacting with the patients and staff. A native of Spokane, Lesa and her husband have two sons and two daughters. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and being involved with her kids in all their activities.
Julie, Dental Assistant/Front Desk Assistant
Julie has worked in the field of dentistry since 1992 and with Dr. Menke since 1997. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is the variety of procedures, and she enjoys spending time with patients and other staff members. Julie is a native of England who has lived in Spokane since she was 10. She and her husband enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.
Becky, Dental Hygienist
Becky has worked in the field of dentistry since 1972 and with Dr. Menke since 1980. She says people always ask how they can work "in people's mouths," but
she replies that if those teeth weren't attached to real people they wouldn't
be doing it! They love all the patients. Her favorite thing about working with
Dr. Menke is that he loves new technology, and it gives the whole team an opportunity
to always be learning and offer new services. Becky loves Dr. Menke's dental
team and enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life, noting that it's exciting
to try and make a difference in their lives by being a good listener. She says
modern dentistry offers numerous possibilities to improve one's smile and quality
of life, and that it's exciting to help people reach their goals. A native of
Spokane, Becky and her husband have two sons, a daughter, and a granddaughter.
She says, "We have a dental team that has worked together for a long time. We share a common concern about people and try to create a relaxed dental experience. Staying on top of new dental trends and information is important to us so we can help our patients reach their dental goals. We enjoy sharing what's new in dentistry and at the same time explaining what causes dental disease and how they can prevent a lot of dental problems, as well as be in charge of their dental health."
Brandy, Dental Assistant
Brandy works as a chairside assistant office rover, i.e. catch all! She has worked in dentistry since 1994 and as a member of Dr. Menke's team since 1999. She likes being able to help people better their overall health by giving them nice smiles and bettering their self-esteem.
Brandy says Dr. Menke is fast and efficient, cares about his staff, has a great personality and strives to give his patients the best possible care. Her favorite thing about her job is being busy, the ability to vary her tasks, working with great co-workers, having a good working schedule, and helping others.
A native of Pendleton, OR, she has lived in Spokane since 1997 and has a husband and son.
Outside the office she works on obtaining her RN and enjoys going to the gym, skating, camping, scrapbooking, reading, being with friends and family when not in school or working, and basically EVERYTHING!
Lorelei, Dental Assistant
Lorelei's duties include chairside patient care. She has worked in dentistry since 1988 and with Dr. Menke since 2005. She likes getting to know the patients and says Dr. Menke is fun and likes to keep up with state-of-the-art technology. Her favorite thing about the job is working with the staff and being chairside. Lorelei is a Spokane native with one son and one daughter. In her spare time she likes dirt biking and camping.
Jeanette, Dental Assistant
Jeanette works for Dr. Menke as a chairside and surgical implement assistant. She has worked in the field of dentistry since 1992 and with Dr. Menke since 1996. Her favorite things about dentistry are working with patients and getting to know them, and also learning about new technology. She likes to learn from Dr. Menke's knowledge and experience with new technology and be around his fun and upbeat personality. Jeanette's favorite area in dentistry is implants and surgical procedures, and she also enjoys working with children. She's a native of Spokane, and she and her husband have two children, a son and a daughter. Outside the office she enjoys going to Priest Lake, camping, playing piano and spending time with family.
Joan, Administrator
Joan has worked in the field of dentistry since 1979
and has worked with Dr. Menke between 1979-1982 and since 1986.
Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is the patient and staff interaction, and her
favorite thing about working with Dr. Menke is his enthusiasm and clinical excellence.
She enjoys the personal relationships that develop during patient care.
A native of Pullman, WA, Joan has live in Spokane since 1991. She's married with one son, and outside of work she's involved in
church, Our Lady of Fatima youth group, the American Business Women's Association, quilting, reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
Christine, Dental Hygientist
Christine has worked in dentistry for six years and has worked with Dr. Menke since 2005. She likes educating people and improving their smiles. She also appreciates the fact that Dr. Menke makes patient education a priority and that he keeps up with cutting-edge technology.
Her favorite thing about her job is meeting new people every day and working with a great group of dental professionals at Dr. Menke's office.
Christine is a Spokane native who has two sons. She enjoys spending time with her children.
LeeAnna, Dental Assistant
LeeAnna grew up in a small town called Edicott. After high school she moved to Spokane and enrolled in the Spokane Community College Dental Assisting Program. She has been a Certified Dental Assistant for about 4 1/2 years. She recently started working at Dr. Menke's office and is loving every minute of it. She feels very lucky to be working in a high-tech office, providing patients with optimal care and working with an intelligent, fun and caring staff.
